The idea of the “Schafhocker” originated about eight years ago in a convivial gathering in a pub.

Each sheepskin stool is truly unique, crafted with meticulous attention to detail in the Sheepskin Nature© workshops. Your personalized, one-of-a-kind piece takes approximately 5–8 hours to create—handcrafted and finished with a custom-made hide cover for a perfect fit. The combination of regional wood, gently tanned hides, and traditional craftsmanship makes each stool a work of art that brings charm and coziness to your home.
Materials from home – sustainable and high-quality
Our sheep stools are made exclusively from sustainably sourced materials: genuine hides from sheep raised under animal-friendly conditions, as well as wood from regional forestry. This careful selection guarantees not only the highest quality but also a clear conscience when purchasing.
Attention to detail that inspires
The larch wood horns are artfully carved, while the wooden surfaces are varnished, stained, and branded. A hand-forged brass bell completes the design and lends each stool its unique character. Invisibly attached real fur ensures a flawless appearance and completes the piece.
